Several rivers flow through the municipality of Madan, the largest being the Madanska river, the Black river and the largest and most famous – the Arda river. At Mechedolsko dere, there is also a beautiful waterfall, hidden among lush vegetation, which is why it is not so popular for tourist purposes so far and is relatively little visited by tourists. The Mechodol waterfall is interesting in that the access to it is strewn with almost all types of local vegetation, a large part of the local fauna lives around it and it is convenient for socializing. The waterfall is on two levels, the upper drop of water is about 1.5 meters and the lower drop is about 4.5 meters. After the spring into which the water falls, resembling a round pond, it continues down a narrow stone trough, which is no less picturesque than the waterfall itself.
Mechodolsko dere is 1 km away. From the village of Ravnishta and 12 km. From the town of Madan, located only about 200 meters from Republic Road II-86.
